Have finally been released officially groups and artists to participate in the seventh edition of "Fuerteventura in Music". The Festival opens its doors again on the beaches of El Cotillo offering tribute, this time, the neighboring continent of Africa.

Fuerteventura has always been linked to Africa by ties not only proximity but also historical and sentimental. Therefore, the FEM has wanted to use this year, in which Africa is the absolute protagonist, to make her look not only at the events on today's developed there, but especially in its ancient rhythms and simultaneously current, which take us from the tribal sounds, blues, jazz, afrobeat and even rap.

Thus the unique sands of El Cotillo will stain black soul on the nights of 2 and 3 July, to dance with great figures of African music and new promises. Names like Queen Ifrica, the new queen of reggae legend Tony that of Rabel, the band Konono No. 1, the Nigerian drummer Tony Allen and the young musicians of Daara J. Family.

The Latin note come from the hand of the artist's revelation of the Spanish sphere Shica, music garrapatera Los Delinqüentes and talent of Venezuelans Los Amigos Invisibles who come to the Festival with a recent Latin Grammy under his arm.

Sounds more urban and cosmopolitan of the hat will Maga Bo, a DJ, producer and musician from New York who through amazing melodies and edgy introduced to the public in a unique show of visual and mergers.

All under the umbrella of an event that year after year to improve the quality of your organization, enriching not only during the night, but with a range of daytime activities that enhance the ecological and social spirit of a different beach festival and character.

The local songwriter David Armas, with his group, also present in the day on Friday 2 July at 8.00 am a selection of his album 'Attitude', making the opening act of the Festival.
