Discovering Fuerteventura III

May 10, 2010 No Comment

The third route that we propose from JM Hotels takes us to see the south.

ROUTE 3: SOUTH

Pozo Negro, Fuerteventura 1. As always we start from Puerto del Rosario. Ahead we have nearly 90 km with few stretches of highway. The first stop past awaits Castle, right in the Salinas del Carmen, where you can visit the Museum of Salt, a salt that is extracted from a salt rich in iodine. Later visit Black Pit where an aboriginal settlement and where you can also enjoy a delicious paella.

2. Following the route will pass Great Tarajal, since our goal today is to Morro Jable at the southern tip of the island. Past Tarajalejo Park lies the oasis of La Lajita, a zoo and botanical garden that alone worth a day visit. Web: http://www.fuerteventuraoasispark.com/

3. A few kilometers we enter into other natural areas of the island, the peninsula of Jandia. We are in the narrowest part of the island and our side extending over 32 km of beaches continued. It is here that takes place every year world championship windsurfing. This area is also particularly attractive for scuba divers and dolphin and whales. On the opposite side of the island, Cofete, the unspoilt beaches stretch, since access to them can only be done through dirt roads.

Jandía Fuerteventura As always, feel free to contact us if you are exploring the island of Fuerteventura. We will inform you of everything you need to spend a few magical days.
